Inclusion criteria

Adult inpatients (≥ 18 years)

Biochemical AKI trigger as per KDIGO/NICE NG148

Trigger occurred during admission to the audit site

Trigger within the project date range

Exclusion criteria

Patients receiving established chronic renal replacement therapy

Patients on an end-of-life care pathway at the time of trigger

Out-of-hospital triggers without subsequent admission

Triggers in patients < 18 years
